Faith Manages

This is a tale of two photographs.

APRIL 3RD, 2022

This first image is my brother holding his son.

Remy has Down Syndrome.

He was a little over 3 months old and about 3 months away from having heart surgery. At this point, Remy was just hanging on. He was in and out of the hospital since his birth. It took everything for him just to keep breathing.

Things seemed kind of bleak.

APRIL 9TH, 2023

A year later. That surgery changed everything. In spite of all he’s been through, he is the happiest little guy you could ever hope for. He has a personality and life. It’s miraculous.

Just one year. One year.

And sure, it isn’t all smooth sailing from here. But things don’t seem so bleak anymore.

Faith manages.
