October Blog: Day 7

Is anyone actually reading these?

Ah, well.

I was thinking today about textures. I’ve always had a thing about textures. Details. The minutia of things.

For instance, I took this today.

I’m probably the only person who finds this interesting. I’m almost sure of it. I took it because I was drawn to the details. The lines, the patterns.

You may recall in a previous post I made similar comments about a shot of my hat. The stray straws kind of made the shot. For me at least. Great photography is in the details.

That’s the one.

I couldn’t choose just one image for today’s photo-a-day challenge. I ran across this restored Chevy Bel-Air. Sadly the poor thing was just sitting there like it was in a museum and needed to be cleaned. But it was cool to run across it. All these shots were taken with my iPhone. It got the job done.

Enjoy.
