The Basilica da Estrela

We visited a few churches during my trip to Europe. None compared to the Basilica. I was so in awe of it that I felt kind of guilty for taking photos, as if it were too precious to be photographed.

Lisbon (Lisboa) is an amazing city, particularly in the Alfama District. There are so many architectural marvels to see. But I would put the Basilica very high on the list. Also, there is an incredible park, the Jardim da Estrela, right in front of it.
