OCTOBER BLOG: DAY TWO

While I’ve been getting marginally better each day, I’m still dealing with the virus. The worst part is that I haven’t been able to sleep for 4 days. I’ve managed to get maybe an hour per day. It sucks.

Obviously I’m stuck indoors, so my photo-a-day challenge is limited to whatever is around me. It doesn’t really matter though. The point is to make the time to shoot.

As mentioned in yesterday’s post, I’m trying to use my time more positively this month. Writing this daily blog is part of that. It’s probably going to be a lot of stream-of-consciousness. Or whatever is on my mind.

Speaking of which, I got a 24 hour ban on facebook. When I was at the Grand Canyon last week, I’d seen a ton of graffiti. I posted a pic of some of it and said that people who do that sort of thing to national monuments should be shot. Apparently that was against community standards. I’m assuming some prick reported me. Doesn’t really matter, since I’m off of social media for the month.

Anyway, here’s today’s photo-of-the-day.

Shot in natural light. Sigma 85mm Art f/1.4 and the Sony a7c.
