The best wallet ever.
The Proof Wallet is perfect for any guy. I have gone though a lot of wallets over the years before I got the Proof Wallet. It’s as minimalist as it gets and it’s made out of leather and metal. It improves on problems I’ve had with other minimalist wallets like the Ridge Wallet. I’ve owned one for a few months and I can honestly say, this is the last wallet I ever plan to buy. Additionally, you can actually get them engraved with words or photos. Pretty cool.
The best belt for fat guys.
Really, the Groove Belt is the best belt period, but as a fat guy, this is a godsend. The belt stretches, so as long as you tighten it every other day, it stays taut around your waist. It isn’t a perfect product. There are some things they can improve, but this is the best belt I’ve ever owned.
All purpose shirts.
I took a trip to Europe in November. The trip to Portugal took over 24 hours sitting in airports and crammed into economy seats. My Fresh Clean Threads Performance Polo was fresh as a daisy. I can’t recommend them enough. Soft, comfortable and attractive. Moisture wicking. Perfect for travel or just a casual day outside. Just make sure you buy the Performance polos. They have other offerings as well.
A good camera.
If you want to spend a bit more on your loved one, this might not be a bad choice. There are newer cameras than the Sony a6400, but given performance, price and lens options, that is my current recommendation. I’ve owned one myself. Great camera.
A new laptop.
The Macbook Air really is a cut above. As a photographer, I do most of my editing on my old M1 Macbook Air. I’m given to understand the current M4’s blow mine out of the water. (To be honest, I’m kind of due for an upgrade.) You can edit video on them as well, but if the person you’re buying for does heavy video editing or gaming, you’ll probably want to spend more money and get the Macbook Pro.
Maybe a good book?
You know what makes a great stocking stuffer? A good book. I wrote two! Shameless plug? Yes. But hear me out. If your man loves Disney, maybe check out Earning My Ears: My Adventures in the Disney College Program. For a more casual reader, Lies We Tell Ourselves: An Anthology might be a better choice. Or… hear me out… buy both!
